SDK Plus PENABUR Cirebon held a meaningful Bina Iman activity for Grade 5 students at Villa Deo Gratias, filled with opportunities to grow in faith, strengthen friendships, and deepen their relationship with God. With the theme “Menabur dan Menuai” (Sowing and Reaping), students were encouraged to understand the importance of planting good seeds through their words, actions, attitudes, and daily choices.
The two-day program included worship, Bible reflections, fellowship games, and engaging outdoor activities. Through sessions led by Rev. Verawati Hia, students learned about growing firmly in the right soil and building relationships that strengthen one another. They were reminded that, just as plants need good soil and care to grow, their faith must also be nurtured through prayer, God's Word, and a close relationship with Him.
One of the most memorable moments was the reflective worship session, “Wonderfully Made,” followed by the Love Letter activity. Students had the opportunity to read heartfelt messages from their parents and write letters in return, expressing their love and gratitude. This special moment reminded them that they are wonderfully created by God and surrounded by people who love and support them.
Through this Bina Iman experience, students learned the importance of faith, kindness, teamwork, and appreciation for others. SDK Plus PENABUR Cirebon hopes that the seeds planted during these activities will continue to grow in every student's heart, shaping their character and guiding them to reflect God's love in their daily lives.
