On Friday, 15 August 2025, our elementary school joyfully celebrated Indonesia’s Independence Day. The event was filled with excitement, togetherness, and gratitude as students, teachers, and staff gathered to honor the nation’s freedom.
The day began with a short devotion, where everyone was reminded to be thankful for God’s blessings and to live with a spirit of unity and gratitude. This moment helped students reflect that independence is both a gift and a responsibility.
After the devotion, the celebration continued with fun traditional games that brought laughter and joy. Students also joined the Cerdas Cermat Kemerdekaan (Independence Day Quiz), where they showcased their knowledge about Indonesia’s history, heroes, and national values. The competition was both exciting and educational, inspiring students to love their country more.
This Independence Day celebration became a joyful and meaningful occasion, combining faith, fun, and national pride. Through this event, students were encouraged to be grateful for Indonesia’s freedom, to respect one another, and to grow in unity and love for their nation.
