Collaborating with the other 14 cities, SDK Plus Penabur Cirebon joined Pesta Siaga 2023 which all grade 4 students participated in. With the theme of “Aku Siaga, Inovatif, dan Mandiri”, the event was held on October 28th, 2023.
The event was conducted online, but all the participating students gathered at the school hall to join the Zoom meeting. They followed the various activities that introduced them to basic skills, such as arranging the bible verse, making a straw whistle, practicing 3 types of know (square knot, clove hitch, sheet bend), and making fruit salad.
All the students excitedly joined every activity and proudly showed the result of their effort on each task they did together.
At the end of the event, everyone got to see the pre-recorded performances that each school had prepared. SDK Plus Penabur Cirebon especially prepared a fashion show video performances of Balinese traditional clothes. By joining Pesta Siaga 2023, our beloved grade 4 students have learned about teamwork and independence that they can later apply on a daily basis.
