The new academic year is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our amazing elementary students back to school! To help everyone ease into the new routines and build a strong sense of community, we kicked off the year with a special Welcome Week packed with fun, faith, learning, and friendship. Here’s a look back at our meaningful and memorable start to the school year:
We began the week with a heartwarming Praise and Worship session, where students and teachers gathered to sing, reflect, and set a positive tone for the year. Afterwards, students met their new teachers and classmates during Class Division. Smiles, excitement, and a few butterflies filled the air as everyone settled into their new classrooms.
The second day began with Morning Devotion, helping students reflect and start the day with gratitude and calm. The morning continued with engaging Literacy Activities, where students explored books, words, and creative expression. We also practiced singing the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and national pride. The highlight for many? Classroom Decoration! Students and teachers worked together to turn their rooms into cheerful, colorful learning spaces.
Midweek, students began exploring their new subjects during two days of Introduction to Lessons. Teachers gently guided students through their learning materials, class routines, and expectations — helping everyone feel prepared, confident, and excited to learn. It was wonderful to see students already showing curiosity and focus!
We ended Welcome Week with a day full of energy and joy! The morning kicked off with a fun Morning Exercise session, where students stretched, danced, and got their bodies moving in preparation for the day. Then came the highlight of the week — our Buddy Games!
In this special activity, older students were paired with younger ones as Big Buddies and Small Buddies. Together, each pair took part in exciting games designed to build teamwork, friendship, and school spirit. Laughter filled the playground as students played, encouraged one another, and created lasting memories.
Welcome Week was more than just a series of activities — it was a celebration of coming together as one school family. We are proud of how our students showed kindness, participation, and enthusiasm throughout the week. With such a joyful start, we know this school year is going to be filled with growth, learning, and lots of smiles.
Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead — welcome back!
