On February 19, SDK Plus PENABUR Cirebon held a vibrant Chinese New Year celebration at school. The event was filled with excitement and cultural performances that brought the whole school community together in a joyful atmosphere led by our amazing students as MC, Judith and Kimberly.

The celebration began with devotion by Mr. Paulus and followed by special performances by the Laoshi and the MD team. Their performances were lively and entertaining, showcasing beautiful Chinese songs and energetic dances that impressed the audience. Students watched enthusiastically and showed their appreciation with loud applause.

After the performances, the students participated in various fun competitions. The games were designed to strengthen teamwork, creativity, and sportsmanship while still reflecting the spirit of Chinese New Year. Laughter and cheers could be heard throughout the event as students enjoyed every activity.

The celebration was beautifully concluded with a spectacular liong and barongsai performance. The dynamic movements of the dragon and lion dancers amazed everyone and created an unforgettable ending to the day’s festivities.

Through this meaningful event, the school not only celebrated Chinese New Year but also encouraged students to appreciate cultural diversity and strengthen the spirit of unity within the school community.
